Torino president Urbano Cairo is refusing to budge on his €20 million valuation of star Matteo Darmian, amid heavy interest from England.
The 25-year-old Italian international enj0yed another fine season with the Granata that has led to reports all summer that elite clubs in Europe would be scrambling to sign him.
Sky Sport Italia report that Torino aren’t willing to lower their demands for one of their main assets, despite heavy pressing from a number of English Premier League outfits.
The Granata have already rejected an approach from Napoli earlier this month, involving an offer consisting of cash and a couple of players in part-exchange, as they prefer the full €20 million up-front.
Darmian made 44 appearances for Torino this season across all competitions, scoring four times.
