Silvan Widmer udineseUdinese have placed an €8 million valuation on Napoli and Juventus target Silvan Widmer.

The Partenopei and Bianconeri are both known to be in the market for defensive reinforcements, with a fullback particularly sought after, and Widmer has been rumoured as one of the main options available for the two teams.

Udinese have decided to place an €8 million valuation on their fullback, who impressed last term, report Tuttosport.

For Napoli, Widmer could represent a more cost-efficient transfer than Sassuolo’s Sime Vrsaljko, who they have been consistently linked with this summer.

Meanwhile, Juventus could look to place Widmer under the tutorship of fellow Switzerland national Stephan Lichtsteiner.

The 22-year-old has three Switzerland caps to his name so far, in addition to the accumulated 52 Serie A appearances under his belt for Udinese.
