Premier League sides Watford and West Ham United have reportedly made contact with Roma for striker Seydou Doumbia.

The Ivory Coast international only signed for the Giallorossi in January, but could be allowed to leave the club after failing to impress at Roma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Doumbia could join either of the Premier League outfits, but the Giallorossi will be looking to re-coup the full amount they paid for the 27-year-old in January.

Roma signed Doumbia from Russian club CSKA Moscow for a €14.5 million and are holding out for a similar fee should Doumbia move again this summer.

Doumbia still has four more years left on his contract with Roma but the Giallorossi would even being willing to let the Ivorian leave on an initial loan deal followed by an obligation to purchase the player outright in 2016
