MIhajlovic - Ac MilanAC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was disappointed despite picking up his first victory of the Serie A season.

The Rossoneri beat Empoli by a 2-1 scoreline but were far from convincing in their second match.

“The only positive we can take from this game was the three points,” Mihajlovic told Rai Sport.

“Nothing has changed, the only reason we won was our two strikers who got goals out of nowhere.

“We did relatively well until we conceded the goal, then we just collapsed, we’re strong in attack.”

Carlos Bacca opened the scoring before Riccardo Saponara equalised against his former club.

Luiz Adriano scored the winning goal for the hosts having already set up Carlos Bacca.

“Milan would’ve lost this game a year ago, but only because they didn’t have these strikers,” Mihajlovic continued.

“I have to make the players shake off this fear, something is clearly wrong in their heads.

“I take responsibility, as it is my job to put this grit and determination into the team.”

Milan will now face city rivals Inter who must first travel to face Serie A new boys Carpi.
