Soriano - ItalySampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano continues to be the subject of attention from AC Milan, with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic specifically requesting a move for the Italian international.

Milan have been rumoured to be interested in bringing in an energetic box-to-box midfielder this summer with tentative links to Axel Witsel mentioned throughout the transfer window.

According to Milannews.it, Rossoneri coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has requested the club sign Soriano to help him complete his midfield.

However, it is believed the deal will only happen if the Diavolo can shift one of their current central midfielders on, with Antonio Nocerino considered to be the man who could be on his way out.

Mihajlovic and Soriano teamed up previously during the Serbian’s spell in charge at the Blucerchiati.
