Soriano - AC Milan v SampdoriaWith the transfer window drawing to a close, AC Milan are weighing up reopening their transfer dialogue for Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano.

The midfielder has long been in the Rossoneri’s sights, but other targets have emerged over the course of the summer.

However, Tuttosport report that with neither Ilkay Gundogan nor Joao Moutinho likely to join Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side, an €11 million bid for Soriano is set to be tabled.

It has been reported that the Rossoneri’s interest in the Italian international waned following the arrival of Juraj Kucka from Genoa.

It is thought that Milan will face competition for the Darmstadt-born midfielder from Napoli, but Soriano himself is thought not to favour a move to the Partenopei.

The Rossoneri’s season got off to a disastrous start with defeat away at Fiorentina but, having signed Mario Balotelli back to the club during the week, attention has switched to the midfield and to Soriano.
