AC Milan remain keen on signing Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli but are unwilling to raise their offer of €25 million.

Milan have been in negotiations with the Giallorossi all summer but have yet to reach a deal for the Italian U-21 international with Roma refusing to lower their €30 million asking price.

According to the Diavolo’s official TV channel, however, the Rossoneri’s €25 million offer is still on the table and could be accepted if Roma need to find funds to strengthen other areas of the pitch.

The report also touches on the situation surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic saying there are no updates on the potential transfer and that any deal is only likely to happen towards the end of the transfer window.

Romagnoli spent last season on loan at Sampdoria working under new Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
