AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has all but confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be returning to the Rossoneri.

The Italian giants pursuit of the Swedish striker has been one of the most drawn out sagas of the summer transfer window, but Galliani looks set to have put to bed any talk of the Paris Saint-Germain striker making a return with Milan now set to focus on other targets in their bid to return to the Champions League.

According to the Corriere dello Sera, Galliani described the chances of the Rossoneri completing a deal for the 33-year-old as “one in a million,” effectively confirming that coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is now set to press ahead with moves for other transfer targets.

Ibrahimovic enjoyed a successful two-year spell with Milan before completing a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around €20 million in summer 2012.
