Sebastian De Maio’s agent Diego Tavano has claimed Napoli are after the player.
The defender impressed last year for Genoa as he featured regularly in the side that achieved a 6th place in Serie A.
“Napoli and De Laurentiis are interested in De Maio,” Tavano told reporters
“There is no deal in place so will shall see.
“Napoli are one of the best teams in the country.
“To play for a club like Napoli in a stadium like the San Paolo would be an honour for my player.
“De Maio is moving upwards and has his eyes set on the national team as he continues to prove his worth yesterday.
“If Napoli follow through their interest with an offer, we will have a think.
“Today, anything can happen.”
