Massimiliano Allegri Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has spoken ahead of Sunday’s clash with title challengers Roma, with the Bianconeri looking for their first three points of the new season.

The Old Lady succumbed to a disappointing opening day defeat at home to Udinese, but a win at the home of the Giallorossi could kick-start their stuttering season.

“Marchisio [Claudio] will return from injury after the international break,” Allegri revealed in his pre-match press conference.

“Khedira [Sami] is still a while away.

“As for Asamoah [Kwadwo], he will be assessed over the coming days.”

Kingsley Coman’s loan move to Bayern Munich was completed on Friday, with an option to buy following the 2015-16 Bundesliga season. “Coman has gone,” Allegri stated.

“It was his desire to leave, but I think it’s good for all parties.

“He didn’t play much last season and wanted to move on so to keep a player against his will is bad for the team as a whole.”

“As for Llorente [Fernando], the exit was always planned.

“It’s unfortunate because he’s a great guy.

“Isla [Mauricio] is also heading toward the exit door.”

The press conference concluded with Allegri answering queries on striker Simone Zaza.

“Zaza does not start,” the Italian said.

“He is young and needs time to settle.

“You can not expect too much and we need to slowly allow him to grow. It was the same case for Morata [Alvaro] last season.

“You can’t have everything at once.”
