Massimo Ambrosini won four Serie A titles, and two Champions League titles to go along with 489 appearances for AC Milan. Safe to say his experience will help out the youthful Viola.

Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini expects the Rossoneri to make the most of the money invested in the squad and push for Champions League qualification.

The 38-year-old former midfielder also feels that Alessio Romagnoli would make a great addition to the side.

“Champions League qualification was the objective declared by the club last season even without any investment,” said Ambrosini to the Corriere della Sera.

“This 2015-16 season it is even more of an objective with all the money spent.

“It will be a beautiful season; Milan and Inter can’t fail.

“Roma and Napoli have to prove themselves and let’s not even talk about Juventus.”

Ambrosini also spoke enthusiastically about Roma’s Romagnoli with the former Sampdoria player linked with a €25 million to the Rossoneri.

“€25m is a lot of money for a defender but you cannot debate his value.”

Ambrosini made 344 appearances for Milan where he won the Serie A title four times and the Champions League twice.
