Atalanta defender Yohan Benalouane is set to leave Italy and move to England with Leicester City.
The Foxes have recently changed coaches bringing in former Inter and Roma coach Claudio Ranieri. ‘The Tinkerman’ as he is known in England, has seemingly set his sights on Serie A for reinforcements.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the player will move to Premier League for a fee believed to be €7 million. Benalouane will sign a four year contract with the deal’s official announcement expected in the next few days.
The 28-year old joined La Dea from Parma last summer after spending half a season on loan during the previous campaign. Benalouane made 27 appearances and scored one goal during the 2014-15 Serie A season.
The French-born defender is registered to represent Tunisia internationally but has rejected call ups from the North African nation.
