The Spanish giants were drawn in the same group as Roma in the Champions League, along with Bayer Leverkusen and BATE Borisov, and Enrique is happy with the fact that he will return to play the team he coached during the 2011/12 Serie A season.
“It will be special for me, my relationship with Roma has always been good,” he said during a press conference.
“I am happy to be able to come back to a wonderful city.”
Enrique then talked about the skill of Roma captain Francesco Totti.
“His quality can be decisive in a game either from the start or at any point in the match.”
The first Champions League tie in the 2015/16 season for the Giallorossi will be played on September 16 at home against Barcelona.
