Adriano-BarcaRoma are reportedly looking to snap up Barcelona’s Adriano after the left-back signalled his desire to leave the Champions League holders for the Italian side with reports that he has already agreed terms.

The Giallorossi are in the market for reinforcements on the flanks and have identified the Brazilian as a solution to the issue with Adriano’s agent, Paulo Affonso Neves, set to hold talks with the Catalan giants in order to accelerate his departure.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the negotiations for the exit of the full-back may prove difficult as Barca’s coach, Luis Enrique could look to prevent the player from leaving the Camp Nou due to the lack of full-backs currently at the club.

If Adriano’s move materialises, that will only leave Enrique with Jordi Alba as a senior option on the left of defence. As a result the Spanish side will look to hang on to Adriano until at least January 2016 when the club’s transfer ban comes to an end and they will be able to register a replacement.

The former Sevilla player has featured a total of 106 times for the Blaugrana since joining in 2010.
