Newly promoted Bologna have confirmed the return of Saphir Taider to the club from Inter on a two-season long loan deal, with a view to making the move permanent.
The 23-year-old starred from the Rossoblu from 2011-2013 before making a €5.5 million move to the Nerazzurri in August 2013, but he struggled to secure a first team place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
After returning from Southampton without making a senior appearance for the Premier League club, the Algerian was then despatched to Serie A side Sassuolo on-loan for the 2014-15 campaign.
“Bologna FC 1909 announces that it has acquired from FC Internazionale the sporting rights of the midfielder Saphir Taider on loan until 30 June 2017 with a mandatory purchase agreement,” the club announced via their official website.
During his last stint with the Felsinei Taider made 48 appearances for the club, scoring three times.
