Bologna have turned their attention to fringe AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino.

The 30-year-old Italian international has seen his stock plummet considerably over the past few years, following unconvincing loan spells at West Ham, Torino and Parma.

Bologna have been linked with San Lorenzo midfield duo Fernando Elizari and Hector Villalba in recent times, but have turned their attention to a Nocerino as the season draws ever closer.

Tuttomercatoweb report that Bologna director Pantaleo Corvino is still an admirer of the fiery midfielder, and would love to take him to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The Rossoneri are happy to sell the player who is on the periphery of new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic’s plans this season, and are awaiting a formal bid from the promoted side.

Nocerino made 20 appearances for Parma on loan last season after joining mid-way through.
