Antonio Candreva has declared that Lazio want to get on revenge on Juventus for their Coppa Italia Final defeat in Saturday’s Supercoppa Italiana.
The game is being played in Shanghai, China and the 28-year-old believes the Aquile have the advantage over the Bianconeri due to the familiarity of their squad.
“The team has remained the same as last year and this is a huge advantage for us,” said Candreva to Lazio Style Radio.
“We have some great young players and we must put in a good performance against a strong side.
“We have to start again from the Coppa Italia final that we lost agasint Juventus,”
The Italian international also outlined his hopes for the upcoming season whilst admitting his anticipation about meeting the Chinese fans.
“We hope to have a great league campaign. The stadium will be full on August 8th and will definitely exciting”
