Juan Cuadrado - ChelseaJuventus are edging ever closer to completing a deal for Chelsea midfielder Juan Cuadrado after the Bianconeri agreed a fee with the Premier League side.

The Colombian International only joined the current English champions last January for an estimated €35 million, but has since found his playing chances limited and a summer departure now seems inevitable.

Sky Sport Italia have confirmed that the former Fiorentina man will join Juve on a one-year loan deal for a fee of around €2 million.

There is still the possibility that the player will join the club on a permanent basis following the end of next season, but a fixed fee has yet to be arranged.

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta spoke on Sunday before the side’s loss to Udinese and declared that the transfer between the two parties is imminent.

“Cuadrado will arrive on loan. It could be made official as soon as tomorrow,” said Marotta to Sport Mediaset.
