They visit the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza hoping to do better than their efforts last weekend which saw them lose 3-1 to Chievo, while the Rossoneri didn’t have a good start to the season either, losing 2-0 at Fiorentina.
“We must not get distracted and only think about playing football,” Giampaolo told reporters at his pre match press conference ahead of the Milan game.
“We have an opportunity to redeem ourselves following our performance last Sunday.
“I expect a team to face a team who want to win at home and we must go into the match with lots of focus.”
Despite the change of coach this summer and various moves in the transfer market, Giampaolo thinks the squad are bonding well in training.
“During the week the team played well in training, this is a group of people that work well together,” he said.
