Empoli have completed the signing of Leandro Paredes on a season-long loan from Roma.
The 21 year-old has made just a handful of Serie A appearances since arriving from Boca Juniors but will now gain experience with the Azzurri during the 2015/16 season.
The Tuscan side have confirmed through their official Twitter account the arrival of Paredes.
“Empoli FC announces that it has acquired, on a temporary basis, the services of Leandro Paredes.”
Roma have been having a clear-out so far this summer transfer window, with the Argentinian the latest to leave the capital.
Empoli on the other hand will welcome their new attacking addition after the departure of Simone Verdi to Eibar in June.
Paredes scored his first Serie A goal in a 2-1 Roma win over Cagliari in February 2015.
