Joaquin - FiorentinaSpanish winger Joaquin is a new Real Betis player.

Fiorentina and the La Liga outfit have found an agreement for the transfer of the 34-year-old back to his former club.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the acquisition of the attacker will cost Betis €1.5 million.

Joaquin has already featured for Betis, playing first team football between 2000 and 2006, putting together 218 games and 31 goals.

He moved to Valencia, Malaga and Fiorentina, but has always wanted to return to his first club before retirement.

It seemed like he would stay at Fiorentina another season, when his contract would have expired, but instead decided to leave the Viola earlier.

Fiorentina tried to force him to stay, with the difficulty of finding a replacement in the little time left of the transfer window.

However, the Viola signed Kuba Blaszczykowsky from Borussia Dortmund on the last day of the transfer window, enabling Joaquin to leave Florence.
