Gianluigi Donnarumma AC MilanFilippo Galli, the head of AC Milan‘s youth system thinks goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has a big future ahead of him.

The Italian played several times during pre-season for the Rossoneri and put in good performances when given the chance to shine, despite unfortunately missing the decisive penalty kick in a shout-out against Real Madrid.

“He is a huge talent,” Filippo Galli, the head of Milan’s youth sector said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I am not surprised at how he is playing or what he is doing.”

Galli then talked about Milan’s youth system in general, saying Donnarumma wasn’t the only starlet to look out for.

“We are lucky at Milan because we have a number of goalkeepers of high quality.”

At just 16-years-old, Donnarumma is widely regarded to be one of the stars of the future in the Italian goal.
