Fabrizio Ravanelli has rejected comparisons between the current Juventus side and the one he played in.

The former Juventus forward played for the club between 1992-1996 but he insists it is impossible to compare different eras.

“I dont think it is wise or helpful to compare my Juve to the current team.” Ravanelli told Tuttojuve.com.

“For example there is no real comparison between the front three of 1996 to [Mario] Mandzukic, [Alvaro] Morata and [Paulo] Dybala.

“With all respect they are three players who have completely different characteristics to me and my teammates.

“I dont think Juve has been weakened this summer.

“The players they have signed are all great and will bring something new to the team.

“I am sure Paul Pogba will grow at Juventus now Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal have left the side.”
