Former Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi has discussed the return of Mario Balotelli to Serie A after the Italian rejoined AC Milan on loan from Liverpool.
Orsi spoke very highly of Balotelli, who is returning from a nightmare spell in England in an attempt to play regular first team football.
“He was linked to Lazio and I would have liked to him wear the Biancocelesti colours, but I’m still happy to see him back in Italy,” said Orsi to Italian radio station Radio Radio.
“Balotelli is not a bad person: On the field, he looks a little uninterested and plays little for the team.
“But if he were to change his attitude, he could do very well.
“Perhaps this is his last chance on the big stage.
“Balotelli should light a candle to president [Silvio] Berlusconi, he can do very well at the disposal of [Sinisa] Mihajlovic.”
