Despite being given a rare first-team start during AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Empoli on Saturday night, Spanish youngster Suso looks set to leave the club just nine months after arriving at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 21-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Premier League side Liverpool after also struggling to make the breakthrough at Anfield, but after being selected by new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic looked to be getting his chance in Milan.

However La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the young playmaker is now set for a return to England, with Watford keen to take him to London on a season-long loan deal.

After making his Premier League debut against Manchester United in September 2012, Suso made just 14 more league outings for the Merseysiders, failing to score a single goal in the following two-and-a-half years.
