RomagnoliAdriano Galliani has officially welcomed new signing Alessio Romagnoli to AC Milan after the youngster completed his medical and sees a big future for the former Roma defender.

Romagnoli underwent his medical with the Rossoneri on Tuesday as he sealed his €25 million move to the Rossoneri and club vice-president Galliani was quick to praise the 20-year-old.

“Welcome Alessio, you have signed a contract with us until the 30th of June 2020 and we’re really happy about this,” Galliani told Milan Channel.

“You’re young, 20 years old, and for this reason we think you have all the time ahead of you to become one of our leaders, one of those great defenders from the Milan school, one of those to be proud of at San Siro.

“A warm welcome from all of us at Milan and good luck Alessio.”

The promising defender was also quizzed upon his arrival at Milan’s Linate airport as to what number he would like to wear.

“Valentino Rossi’s 46 as a shirt number? I am a crazy fan but I’m not sure. If I can, I will take the 13.”
