Roma coach Rudi Garcia has announced the squad that will make the trip to Barcelona.
The Giallorossi will face the Catalan giants in the 50th edition of the annual Gamper Trophy, a fixture hosted by Barcelona in honour of former president Joan Gamper, at 22:00 on August 5.
The club’s official website revealed the 25-man squad named by Garcia, which is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Wojciech Szczesny, Morgan De Sanctis, Ionut Alin Pop
Defenders: Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Ashley Cole, Leandro Castan, Maicon, Vasileios Torosidis, Konstantinos Manolas, Alessio Romagnoli
Midfielders: Radja Nainggolan, Miralem Pjanic, Daniele De Rossi, Seydou Keita, Leandro Paredes, Salih Ucan, Alessandro Florenzi
Forwards: Juan Manuel Iturbe, Adem Ljajic, Francesco Totti, Iago Falque, Victor Ibarbo, Mattia Destro, Gervinho, Antonio Sanabria
2015 will mark Roma’s first appearance at the Gamper Trophy.
Sampdoria were the last Italian side to face Barca in the competition, with the Blucerchiati winning 1-0 in the 2012 edition of the trophy.
