Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini says Juraj Kucka will be missed from the squad.

The 28-year-old moved to AC Milan for €3 million after spending four years with Genoa, and Gasperini thinks he will do well at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after watching him become an integral part of the Rossoblu squad.

“He was a major player for us, but if you go to a big club it means you’ve done well,” Gasperini said during a press conference.

“I am convinced that he will do well at Milan.”

Rossoneri coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said in his press conference that he is planning to give Kucka his Milan debut this weekend when they host Empoli on Saturday night.

Kucka got nine goals in 127 games for Genoa between 2011 and 2015.

He previously played for Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic before moving to Serie A.
