Both Genoa and Inter have made contact with Zenit St Petersburg to enquire about the availability of Italian full-back Domenico Criscito.
The 28-year-old started his career with the Grifone but was sold in 2011 for €12 million to the Russian side but the player is now reportedly keen on a return to Italy.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoblu have made contact with Zenit regarding Criscito.
A move to Inter currently looks the more likely on account of the high fee that would be required to prise Criscito away from Russia.
However, its still unclear whether the Italian international would like a return to Genoa and the club he grew up at.
Criscito made 25 league appearances for Zenit last season scoring twice and creating three assists as the Zenitchiki won the 2014-15 Russian Premier League by seven points.
