Serie A side Genoa have signed Cristian Ansaldi and Blerim Dzemaili on loan deals.
The Rossoblu registered their first win of the 2015-16 campaign against Hellas Verona last weekend, entering the new season with a much changed first-team squad after selling key players such as Iago Falque and Andrea Bertolacci during the summer.
Now, with the transfer deadline looming, full-back Ansaldi has joined from Zenit St Petersburg on loan until the end of the season.
Joining the Argentine international in Liguria is former Napoli central midfielder Dzemaili, who leaves Turkish giants Galatasaray, also on a temporary basis.
The Swiss 29-year-old appeared 86 times for the Neapolitans in a three-year spell at the Stadio San Paolo and departs Gala after a disappointing year in Turkey following a €2.35 million move.
Both players should be available when the Grifone travel to face Paulo Sousa’s Fiorentina after the international break on September 13.
