Mandorlini - Hellas VeronaAndrea Mandorlini has called on his Hellas Verona side to improve following their defeat to Genoa.

The Grifone dominated for large parts of the game, taking the lead through Leonardo Pavoletti before Serge Gakpe sealed the win after 75 minutes with Verona rarely threatening and Mandorlini admits Verona should have done better

“Each game has it’s own story but we could do better,” Mandorlini told reporters after the match

“Genoa are strong and we did not play as well as last Sunday [a 1-1 draw with Roma], of course, but I repeat every game has it’s own story.”

“It is still too early to draw judgements, we came to Genoa convinced we could do well.”

“The important thing is that we soon reach our goals.”

After the international break, Mandorlini’s men return to Verona to host Torino, who currently have a 100% record in Serie A.
