Inter are continuing their pursuit of a new left full-back with Zenit Saint Petersburg’s Domenico Criscito and Manchester City’s Gael Clichy high on the wish list of coach Roberto Mancini.

The Nerazzurri have completely rebuilt their defence for the coming season with the signings of Martin Montoya, Miranda and Jeison Murillo and are looking to complete the job with a new left full-back.

According to Corriere dello Sera, the Biscione coach has made the Zenitchiki defender his number one target but the Russian champions want €15 million for the defender, while the Stadio Meazza club would like to take the 28-year-old on an initial loan deal.

If that deal fails to materialise then the Nerazzurri will turn their attention to the Citizens’ 30-year-old French international, whose contract with the Manchester club set is to expire in 2016.

The former Arsenal defender has made 98 Premier League appearances, scoring once, for City since moving to Manchester in a deal worth €10 million in 2011.

Meanwhile Criscito also joined the Sine-Belo-Golubye in 2011, from Genoa for €11m, and has made 82 appearances, scoring 6 goals.
