Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio is heading to the Bundesliga, after reaching an agreement with Schalke.
The 26-year-old Italian youth international has been put on the market by the Nerazzurri, as boss Roberto Mancini looks to trim his squad ahead of the season opener.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the full-back has already reached an agreement in principle with the German giants over a move, and now the two clubs need to negotiate a fee.
It is reported that Inter are chasing €5 million for the former Torino ace, who has also been interesting English Premier League sides West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur.
D’Ambrosio made 32 appearances for Inter last term, netting three goals.
