Inter have snubbed an offer made by Arsenal for Mauro Icardi as they look determined to keep him at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Gunners have struggled in front of goal since the start of the season and are eager to address this issue as soon as possible.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal made an offer for the Argentine which was immediately rebuffed by the Nerazzuri.

The Premier League outfit have taken a keen interest in the 22-year-old after losing out on long term target Karim Benzema.

The former Sampdoria player is an integral part of the Milanese giants plans this season as they look to challenge for top honours once again.

Icardi was the joint winner of the Capocannoniere in Serie A last season alongside Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni.
