Inter have rejected a bid from Juventus for Fredy Guarin as Massimiliano Allegri continues his search for an additional midfielder.

Following the summer departures of veteran Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal as well as an injury to recent signing Sami Khedira in the friendly game against Marseille, the Bianconeri have made the search for a midfielder their priority.

Premium Sport report that Juventus had previously attempted to prise Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin from Inter, but the Nerazzurri were unwilling to sell to the Turin side.

It is noted that Inter rejected Juventus then and, while it is thought that the Bianconeri would still like to take Guarin to Turin, there is no indication that the Nerazzurri would be any more willing to part with him.

The Colombian joined Inter from Porto in 2012, initially on loan, but he has gone on to make just under 100 appearances for the side, becoming a mainstay in the Biscioni’s midfield.
