Adem Ljajic RomaInter are poised to sign the Serbian attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic on loan from Roma, although a clause compels the Nerazzurri to make the move permanent.

The Biscione’s sporting director Piero Ausilio also confirmed that the deal is virtually done.

“You can say that a deal for Ljajic is basically complete,” said Ausilio to reporters in Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serbian is set to move to Inter on loan for an initial fee of €2 million with a clause included in the deal to make the move permanent for €9m.

Ljajic will sign a three-year contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Nerazzurri reportedly prioritised the signing of the Serbian after Sampdoria refused to sell Eder.

The former Fiorentina player was also linked with a move to English sides Manchester United, Liverpool and West Ham United.

Ljajic scored eight goals after making 32 appearances for Roma during the 2014-15 Serie A season as the Giallorossi finished as runners-up.
