Inter are ready to put in a fresh bid in the hope of signing Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic.

The Nerazzurri have had a previous offer of €18 million rejected by the German side but are willing to offer more as he is their number one target.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there have been new negotiations between the clubs and Inter are set to offer €20 million for the Croatian.

The deal will depend, however, on whether coach Roberto Mancini will be able to offload Xherdan Shaqiri who has rejected amove Stoke City.

Interest in Swiss player is high though and Inter’s asking price is €17 million.

Perisic registered seven goals and eight assists last season in all competitions as his team knocked Inter out of the Europa League at the last 16  stage.

He also helped the team finish 2nd last season in the Bundesliga, their highest finish since the 2008/09 season when they won it.
