The agent of Fiorentina winger Joaquin has said that the Viola need to lower their asking price for the Spaniard to help the winger return to Real Betis.
With the end of the transfer window looming ominously, Joaquin has recently put pressure on the Gigliati to let him return home to his boyhood club in Spain.
“The situation is complex,” said Eduardo Espejo – the player’s agent – while speaking to ABCdesevilla.
“The player has publicly expressed his desire to return home, the affection of the fans is great but the Firenze people do not understand what Betis means to him.
“Now the ball passes to the two clubs.
“We do not want to put pressure on anyone, but we wanted to express the desire of the player.”
However, Espejo is still confident that a deal will go through.
“I am optimistic, but I do not really know how it will end.
“I expect a move to Betis.”
