Khedira JuventusJuventus are reportedly eyeing Barcelona’s Javier Mascherano.

With the injury sustained by Sami Khedira in the Bianconeri’s match with Marseille, the club is looking to provide cover for coach Massimiliano Allegri  and have turned their attention towards the former West Ham ace.

According to Tuttosport, acquiring the experienced Argentine is set to be a major objective of the Italian giants, especially as the Barcelona player has expressed an interest in moving to Italy.

Having won the treble with the Catalan giants, ‘El Jefe’ is seeking a new adventure and believes Serie A will provide him further motivation.

Besides Mascherano, Juventus are lining up other alternatives such as Adrien Rabiot of Paris Saint-Germain and Inter’s Fredy Guarin.

Mascherano has so far amassed 139 appearances for the Blaugrana and was part of the squad that won the treble in the 2014-15 campaign.
