Juventus will move to sign Galatasaray player Wesley Sneijder should they fail to sign another attacking midfielder.

The Bianconeri have been trying to sign Schalke forward Julian Draxler for some time to help replace the creativity lost following the sales of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal but have found it difficult to conclude a deal for the German international.

According to Sportmediaset, The Old Lady have asked Tottenham about Christian Eriksen but have been rebuffed by the North London club and have turned their attention to Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder as an alternative.

The Dutch international’s contract expires next summer and Juventus sense an opportunity to pounce on the former Inter midfielder.

Snejder has played for a host of high profile clubs during his career including Real Madrid and Ajax as well as the Nerazzurri.

The 31 year-old scored 14 goals in 44 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig champions last season.
