Hernanes InterJuventus director general Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Hernanes is now a Juve player.

The midfielder joined Juve from Inter on the last day of the transfer window.

“It is a done deal: Hernanes is a Juventus player”, said Marotta to Mediaset Premium Sport.

“Hernanes will travel to Turin and join Juventus for €11 million,” added Marotta.

Juventus were on the hunt for a midfielder who can play as a No.10 behind two strikers, and had tried to sign Julian Draxler from Schalke 04, until the German joined Wolfsburg.

The Bianconeri chose the Brazilian to fill the gap thanks to his vast experience in Serie A after spells with the Biscione and Lazio.

Hernanes joined Inter in January for around €18 million, and played 42 games for the Nerazzurri, scoring seven goals before leaving for their rivals Juventus.
