Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has refused to make a prediction on the club’s chances in the Champions League.
The Bianconeri were put in the same group as Manchester City, Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach in the drawing ceremony on Thursday, but despite the immediate pessimism Italian fans may have looking at the group, Marotta has not given his thoughts on how they’ll do.
“We will face every game in the right way and then we’ll see how it turns out,” he told Mediaset.
He then moved on to talk about the club’s activity in the summer transfer market, and commented on Schalke’s Julian Draxler who has been linked with a move to the Juventus Stadium, saying it won’t be the end of the world if an agreement isn’t reached.
“Football is a team sport, one individual will not make all the difference,” he said.
