Juventus have announced that French ace Paul Pogba will this season wear the famous number 10 shirt, as previously sported by legends such as Michel Platini, Alessandro Del Piero and Roberto Baggio.
The 22-year-old will debut his new number during the Supercoppa Italiana match on Saturday against Lazio, leaving behind his previously preffered number six
The club made the announcement via it’s official Twitter page, revealing that the former Manchester United player had been selected to don the coveted jersey.
The switch is also a marketing executive’s dream, as shirt sales are expected to rocket given the change to the most iconic number in world football.
