Schalke’s Julian Draxler could still be on the move to Serie A with Juventus, as the Bianconeri remain eager to sign him.
The Old Lady have been searching all summer for a new attacking midfielder to replace the creativity lost with the departures of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are going to approach the Bundesliga side this week to see if they have lowered their €30 million asking price, which is payable in three instalments, for the German international.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side have also been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan and Henrikh Mhkitaryan recently.
Despite only being 21, Draxler has already played 157 times for Schalke scoring 29 times.
He also has 15 caps for his country, with one international goal to his name.
