Juventus are hoping to sign Fredy Guarin from Inter after their new midfielder Sami Khedira picked up an injury.
New signing Khedira was injured during Juve’s 2-0 friendly defeat to Marseille and now the cub are looking for reinforcements.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Juventus are now desperate to sign a midfielder and Guarin is their number one target.
Guarin famously almost joined Juventus in 2014 in a swap deal for Mirko Vucinic.
But complications in the deal and a black lash from Nerazzurri fans meant the transfer did not go through.
AC Milan are also interested in signing Guarin to bolster their midfield.
Juventus are still hopeful of completing a deal for Schalke’s attacking midfielder Julian Draxler.
But the Bianconeri are unwilling to go any higher than their previous offer of €30 million.
