Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has declared Mario Gotze is staying at the club.

Italian champions Juventus were interested in bringing the German international to Italy but it now appears that any proposed move will not go through.

“Gotze will stay at Bayern Munich,” Rummenigge told reporters.

“I have known this for the last two weeks.

“Gotze has two years left on his contract.

“Unless something incredible and unforeseen happens then he will remain a Bayern player.

“We are not interested in [Kingsley] Coman.”

Bayern were linked with Coman but now appear to have stopped their pursuit of the French youth international after Juventus took the player of the market.
