The agent of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has dismissed reports his client is heading for a move to Everton.
The 24-year-old Frenchman impressed in his debut season in the Serie A last term after moving from Genk, leading to interest from foreign clubs in Europe.
Recent reports suggested that Everton had lodged a bid for the talented defender, but Bruno Satin, the player’s agent, insists these stories are fabricated and his client is going nowhere.
“We don’t know anything about interest from Everton,” Satin told Tuttomercatoweb. “He hasn’t asked to leave, he’s played in the first few friendlies and is 100 per cent with the Partonopei project.
“For a player of his age and value, interest will always exist, but everything comes down to the club wanting to sell a player and he player wanting to leave.
“In the case of Kalidou, there is no such desire and the club also wants to keep him.”
