Lazio midfielder Senad Lulic is happy to see the growing representation of Bosnians in Serie A, as the tally rose with the arrival of Edin Dzeko.

The existing main Bosnian representatives, Lulic and Roma’s Miralem Pjanic, have enjoyed a cult friendship which spanned even the fierce rivalry of their respective teams, and the Lazio man is looking forward to Dzeko’s appearances for Roma this season.

“I will not fall for certain provocations!” joked Lulic to Goal, after Dzeko had made a cheeky dig regarding his national compatriot.

“The arrival of Dzeko? I’m relaxed and calm.”

The 29-year-old was also jovial about the chances of he and Miralem’s friendship receiving a boost thanks to Dzeko’s arrival.

“Even though we live in the same city, I never get to see Miralem.

“He lives on the other side of Roma and we both have a busy schedule.

“Now that Dzeko has arrived maybe there will be more opportunities for dating.”

Sampdoria’s Ervin Zukanovic could be striving for a move to Italy’s capital if his national teammates keep up their public friendship.
