Roma are in the final stages of securing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko’s signature.
The 29-year-old already agreed on personal terms with the Giallorossi early last month, although a transfer fee is yet to be agreed upon.
Dzeko was said to be offered a four-year deal worth €4.5 million per season, and both clubs are now closer to finalising the transfer deal that could see the striker join the Italian club as early as next week.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City have lowered their original asking price of €28 million for the Bosnian to €24 million (made up of €18 million plus €6 million in bonuses).
Roma had already made an unsuccessful offer of €18 million without bonuses, and are reportedly willing to raise their bid to €20 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
