The Biancocelesti were beaten 3-0 by Bayer Leverkusen at the Bay Arena on Wednesday night in the Champions League, missing out on the lucrative group stages of the competition.

The 22-year-old recently pledged his future to the Roman club but could be tempted by a move to Old Trafford following the Aquile’s Champions League exit.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Red Devils are ready to temp Lazio with an offer in the region of €45 million, but the club’s hierarchy are not likely to let one of their main player’s leave so close to the closure of the current transfer window.

Anderson scored 10 goals and notched up seven assists during the 2014-15 season.
